The client wanted a safe alternative to sea swimming, as strong coastal currents nearby made regular swimming unpredictable. Although the beach is only a five minute walk away, they wanted a natural looking body of water at home with consistently clear, safe water for swimming.
The project involved creating a hybrid swimming pond within a confined garden space. This was achieved using our advanced filtration system, allowing excellent water quality without the need for large regeneration zones. The result is a compact yet generous swimming area that feels calm, immersive, and perfectly suited to its setting.
Natural stone edging and carefully chosen planting help the pond sit comfortably within the garden, creating an established and organic appearance. The completed pond offers the enjoyment of natural water swimming with confidence and comfort, all within a space where traditional solutions would not be possible
